Yoga for Beginners

Come learn the basics of Vinyasa Flow Yoga in a non-intimidating environment with a qualified, experienced and patient instructor. This course is designed for those with little to no yoga experience, so there's no pressure. Have the opportunity to tune in with your body and ask any questions you have to get a better understanding of the benefits of practising yoga.
This one day workshop includes:
- 3 hour beginners class with Amy
- 1 month unlimited access to our regularly scheduled classes (30 consecutive days starting from August 4th)
- 1x private session with Amy
We know that just turning up to a new studio as well as being a beginner can be a little daunting. We feel that by starting your journey with a group who are all new to yoga, will take away the nerves and may help you become more motivated and inspired to continue on with a regular practice.

iRest Yoga Nidra
Join us once again as we journey into this replenishing, nourishing experience...
iRest Yoga Nidra is a form of research-based, guided meditation for deep, healing rest: It's the practice of 'yogic sleep', or sleeping with awareness.
The practice of iRest Yoga Nidra enables you to deeply calm your nervous system, integrate challenging thoughts and emotions and offers you a portal to awakening your true nature.
Please bring your yoga mat and a blanket and/or pillow.

Pilates for Beginners
Do you want to take back control and deepen the connection to your body in 2018??We hear it all the time... "I would love to try Pilates, but I'm not fit enough", or "I'm not flexible, I can't do Pilates."
Well, we're here to tell you, friends, that those reasons are the exact reasons why Pilates is perfect for you!
So, we've created this 1-day Pilates for Beginners workshop, specially designed for first-timers, those who believe they're 'not fit/flexible enough', so you can rest assured that you're at the same level as your fellow mat-mates.
We've all got to start somewhere and there's no better time than the present!
Encouraged for men and woman of any age, no matter what your fitness or ability level.
During the workshop, you'll learn a bit about the history and origins of Pilates, and then Katie will break the moves down to a fundamental level. You'll learn the Pilates principles, including breathing, posture and core activation, as well as exercises for flexibility and strength that you can do at home or in class.
Our Beginners Package includes:
Katie will help you get started, allowing you to build up to a level where you'll feel safe and confident in your ability to walk into any Pilates class and take your spot on your mat.

Every month, we'll be screening an inspirational doco or movie.

Asana Lab: The Course
with Amy L. Green
WELCOME TO THE LABORATORY...
This 75-minute workshop-style class will give you the chance to progress your practice.
Each session will include a warm-up and break down of a pose (or group of poses, e.g., arm balances), exploring variations and use of props.
Since some of the poses we'll cover in the lab are more challenging and require more development and instruction (e.g., arm balances, headstand, shoulderstand, forearm balance), this is your chance to ask questions and work on getting to the next level in your practice in a safe and sustainable way.
This is a great option for those that already have some yoga experience--not for complete beginners. Limited spaces are available to ensure maximum teacher-student time.
