New Years Nidra & Intention-Setting
With Amy & Nancy
Maybe you've already set your intentions for 2019, or maybe you haven't--either way, this will be a special evening of journaling & journeying, beyond what your conscious mind sees, thinks or "knows".
Amy will lead you through some of her most powerful journaling exercises to help you gain clarity on what you really want to focus on this year (not what you think you should focus on). We will be using a purifying ritual, some essential oils and even crystals to make these intentions resonate deeply within.
Then Nancy will lead us through a Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation for deep, healing rest: It's the practice of 'yogic sleep', or sleeping with awareness.
Nancy will guide you through the Nidra, assisting you to find one of the most deeply relaxing states (while still maintaining full consciousness); allowing your mind to go beyond the day-to-day mind chatter and focus on EMBODYING your new intentions.
Yoga for Beginners

Join us at Mind Body Movement for a course that will teach you the basics of yoga (and will put you at ease knowing that everyone else in the room is in the same boat!).

NO costumes or heels required--we're just going to have a bit of fun. (Where you take it outside of the studio is up to you!) ;)
Please bring your yoga mat and wear your workout gear.
MBM Book Club
Join us for our first ever MBM Book Club in March! 📖📚😁
This will be our initial meet & greet, where we'll collaboratively choose how we want to run it (and pick our first book!).
Basically, we'll be meeting once per month to have a bit of social time (without yoga pants--or with them if jeans are just too stressful!), some discussion about the book and choose our next book.
Who knows? You might learn something new, and it's a chance to have some fun, do something different and connect with other people in our MBM community. 😍🙌
The first meeting will be at the studio on Thursday 14th March starting at 7pm, we have a few ideas in mind for the first book but please feel free to bring a list of books you would like to dive into deeper. (Books will primarily be focused on personal development genres but we're open to suggestions 😊).
Thursday 14th March, 7pm start
Let us know if you're keen for this course!
Asana Lab: The Course
with Amy L. Green
WELCOME TO THE LABORATORY...
This 75-minute workshop-style class will give you the chance to progress your practice.
Each session will include a warm-up and break down of a pose (or group of poses, e.g., arm balances), exploring variations and use of props.
Since some of the poses we'll cover in the lab are more challenging and require more development and instruction (e.g., arm balances, headstand, shoulderstand, forearm balance), this is your chance to ask questions and work on getting to the next level in your practice in a safe and sustainable way.
This is a great option for those that already have some yoga experience--not for complete beginners. Limited spaces are available to ensure maximum teacher-student time.
If you want to take your practice to the next level, I invite you to join me in the lab.
